  12.       Having installed the latest TeX, I am now trying to install 
  13. xdvik-1.8.  I have tried this as delivered, as well, after reading the Xaw
  14. warning messages, as with the lines

  17. tool_libs=""

  19. placed in many places throughout the distribution.  Nonetheless, the make
  20. command ends with the error message:

  34. Now, regrettably, we are only running AIX 3.2.4 with X11R4, not X11R5.  The
  35. file libXaw.a does not exist anywhere on our system.  I am afraid I am stuck.
